Qatar Open: Qualifier Nardi upsets Zhang to move into second round

Italian qualifier Luca Nardi won against Chinese Zhizhen Zhang 6-4, 6-3 to move into the second round of the Qatar Open at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha.

Nardi, ranked No 85, will play Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, next.
