Djokovic withdraws from Paris-Bercy Masters 1000 (and may not play again in 2024)
The Serb has no more official tournaments scheduled for 2024

Good news for the top players on the ATP tour who have hopes of winning Paris-Bercy: Novak Djokovic, seven-time winner of the tournament – a record – and winner of four of the last five editions, has decided not to take part this season.
Serbian journalist Saša Ozmo announced the news in an article published via Sport Klub.
As a result, Djokovic may not appear in another official competition in 2024. During the Davis Cup play-off between his country and Greece in mid-September, he had already stated that he would not be taking part in the ATP 250 in Belgrade, his hometown, which runs from 3 to 9 November.
And Serbia have not qualified for the Davis Cup Final 8, played in Malaga two weeks later.
The only hope of seeing Djokovic back on court by the end of the year would be at the ATP Finals. The only problem is that he is currently sixth in the Race rankings – the top eight have already qualified – and his direct rivals are continuing to play to try and pick up points.
But the ATP Finals are no longer a real target for him. He won a record seventh title there last year, one more than Roger Federer.
He may instead be turning his attention to some exhbitions, first with Juan Martín del Potro in Buenos Aires on December 1, and then in Spain for the farewell of his old rival, Rafael Nadal.
