Djokovic museum to open in Belgrade
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced the creation of a museum to celebrate the legacy of the World No. 1
After his sensational and historic victory at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Novak Djokovic will be honoured with a museum dedicated to his legendary career. On Tuesday, the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic announced to the nation that the museum will soon be constructed in Belgrade, and seek to celebrate Djokovic’s trophies and overall career, similarly to the Rafael Nadal museum in Mallorca.
Vucic stated that: “We had the first discussions about the construction of the Novak Djokovic museum, which is expected to become another attraction for the city. Palma de Mallorca has a museum dedicated to Rafael Nadal. We will strive to showcase what Djokovic has done for our country in accordance with his merits and at the same time attract tourists.”

The comments follow Djokovic’s straight sets (7-6, 7-6) win vs World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz in the gold medal match at the Paris Olympics on Sunday, with the Serb collecting his first title and top 10 win of 2024. Djokovic had previously participated in four Olympic Games, and had only managed to achieve one medal – a bronze in 2008 – meaning that the victory provided an extra sense of meaningfulness for both the superstar and his country.
