Michael Mmoh advanced to the second round of the Delray Beach Open by defeating wildcard Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Monday night.

Mmoh, ranked No 87, will play No 3 seed Denis Shapovalov next.
