Delray Beach Open: Kudla first to book spot in second round, Paul next

American Denis Kudla edged out Australian Jordan Thompson 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2) to reach the second round of the Delray Beach Open at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Monday.

Kudla, ranked No 95, will play second seed Tommy Paul next.
