Delray Beach Open: Kecmanovic reaches last eight
Miomir Kecmanovic won against Nuno Borges 6-3, 7-5 on Wednesday evening and will face the winner of the match between American Marcos Giron and Croat qualifier Matija Pecotic in the next round
Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 4 seed, moved into the last 8 of the Delray Beach Open by winning against Portuguese qualifier Nuno Borges 6-3, 7-5 at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Wednesday evening.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 33, will play the winner of the match between American Marcos Giron and Croat qualifier Matija Pecotic next.
Borges, ranked No 104, edged out American lucky loser Steve Johnson (6-4, 3-6, 6-4) in the previous round of the Delray Beach tournament.
