Delray Beach Open: Arnaldi through to second round
Matteo Arnaldi beat Yoshihito Nishioka 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 on Monday evening and will play the winner of the match between Australian Rinky Hijikata and Liam Broady in the next round

Italian Matteo Arnaldi, the No 6 seed, advanced to the second round of the Delray Beach Open by winning against Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Monday evening.
Arnaldi, ranked No 43, will play the winner of the match between Australian Rinky Hijikata and Liam Broady next.
