De Minaur takes less than an hour to advance in Indian Wells

Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 10 seed, advanced to the third round of the Indian Wells Masters by winning against Japanese Taro Daniel 6-1, 6-2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Friday evening.

De Minaur, ranked No 10, will play the winner of the match between Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 20 seed, and Chinese qualifier Juncheng Shang next.

Daniel, ranked No 76, defeated Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan (6-4, 6-1) in the previous round of the Indian Wells Tennis Masters.
