Dallas Open: Wu makes semi-finals, Fritz next

Chinese Yibing Wu advanced to the semi-finals of the Dallas Open by beating Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No 8 seed, 6-3, 6-4 at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Friday.
Wu, ranked No 97, will face top seed Taylor Fritz next.
The Chinese won against American Michael Mmoh (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) and Canadian Denis Shapovalov, the No 3 seed (7-6 (1), 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Dallas tournament.
Mannarino, ranked No 63, won against American Steve Johnson (7-6 (6), 6-2) and Australian Jordan Thompson (6-2, 7-6 (3)).
