Dallas Open: Shapovalov makes second round

Canadian Denis Shapovalov defeated Serb Miomir Kecmanovic 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Dallas Open at the Ford Center at The Star on Wednesday.

Shapovalov, ranked No 54, will face American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, next.
