Dallas Open: Koepfer through to second round
Dominik Koepfer beat Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-4, 7-6 (5) on Tuesday. He’ll play the winner of the match between American wildcard Ethan Quinn and Australian Rinky Hijikata in the next round

German Dominik Koepfer, the No 8 seed, reached the second round of the Dallas Open by defeating American Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-4, 7-6 (5) at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Tuesday.
Koepfer, ranked No 60, will play the winner of the match between American wildcard Ethan Quinn and Australian Rinky Hijikata next.
