Croat wildcard Dino Prizmic moved into the last eight of the Croatia Open by beating Hungarian Zsombor Piros 6-2, 6-3 at the ITC Stella Maris in Umag.
Prizmic, ranked No 287, will face Australian Alexei Popyrin next.
The 17-year-old Croat won against wildcard Duje Ajdukovic (6-1, 6-2) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Umag tournament, Piros, ranked No 124, defeated Australian Christopher O’Connell, the No 5 seed (6-3, 6-4).
