Spaniard Jaume Munar reached the quarter-finals of the Croatia Open by winning against Hungarian Fabian Marozsan 6-4, 6-3 at the ITC Stella Maris in Umag on Thursday evening.
Munar, ranked No 104, will face the winner of the match between Marco Cecchinato and second seed Lorenzo Sonego next.
In the previous round of the Umag tournament, the Spaniard beat No 8 seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas (6-3, 3-6, 6-3).
Marozsan, ranked No 87, won against Argentinian Juan Manuel Cerundolo (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round of the Umag tournament.
