Croatia Open: Marozsan survives first-round marathon against Shevchenko
Fabian Marozsan edged out Alexander Shevchenko 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (8) on Sunday evening. He’ll face the winner of the match between Brazilian Thiago Monteiro and No 7 seed Tomas Machac in the next round

Hungarian Fabian Marozsan reached the second round of the Croatia Open by edging out Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (8) at the ITC Stella Maris in Umag on Sunday evening.
Marozsan, ranked No 45, will face the winner of the match between Brazilian Thiago Monteiro and No 7 seed Tomas Machac next.
