Croatia Open: Arnaldi reaches second round

Italian Matteo Arnaldi, the No 7 seed, won against Dutch qualifier Jesper De Jong 6-3, 6-2 to move into the second round of the Croatia Open at the ITC Stella Maris in Umag on Tuesday afternoon.

Arnaldi, ranked No 76, will face Italian Flavio Cobolli next.
