Citi Open: Shapovalov upsets Mannarino to make last 16

Canadian wildcard Denis Shapovalov moved into the last 16 of the Citi Open by winning against Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No 6 seed, 6-2, 6-1 at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Washington on Tuesday.
Shapovalov, ranked No 139, will face Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 12 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Canadian beat Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut (6-1, 6-4).
