Citi Open: Opelka into second round

American wildcard Reilly Opelka edged out Australian James Duckworth 6-7 (12), 7-5, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Citi Open at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Washington on Tuesday night.

Opelka, ranked No 371, will face No 7 seed Jordan Thompson next.
