Citi Open: Hong upsets Walton to move into second round

Qualifier Seong-Chan Hong won against Australian Adam Walton 7-6 (6), 7-6 (4) to advance to the second round of the Citi Open at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Washington on Monday evening.
The win was Hong’s first ATP-level victory of the season.
Hong, ranked No 175, will face No 3 seed Karen Khachanov next.
