Citi Open: Griekspoor reaches last 16
Tallon Griekspoor defeated Liam Broady (6-4, 6-2) on Wednesday.
Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 12 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Citi Open by winning against Liam Broady in straight sets (6-4, 6-2) at Rock Creek Park Tennis Center in Washington on Wednesday.
Griekspoor, ranked No 37, will play the winner of the match between French wildcard Gaël Monfils and Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 6 seed, next.
In the previous round, Broady, ranked No 125, beat Frenchman Corentin Moutet (7-6, 6-4).
