Cincinnati Masters: Nishioka books spot in second round
Yoshihito Nishioka defeated Gregoire Barrere 6-4, 7-5 on Sunday night and will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the No 16 seed, and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in the next round

Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka advanced to the second round of the Cincinnati Masters by beating Frenchman Gregoire Barrere 6-4, 7-5 at the Linder Tennis Family Center on Sunday night.
Nishioka, ranked No 45, will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the No 16 seed, and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov next.
