Sinner gets retirement from Kecmanovic in Cincinnati second round

Italian Jannik Sinner, the No 10 seed, reached the last 16 of the Cincinnati Masters when Serb Miomir Kecmanovic retired on Wednesday evening at the Linder Tennis Family Center.
Sinner, ranked No 12, led 7-5, 3-1 when Kecmanovic, ranked No 36, pulled out on Wednesday evening at the Linder Tennis Family Center.
The 21-year-old Italian will play Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Cincy Open, Jannik Sinner edged out Australian qualifier Thanasi Kokkinakis (6-7 (9), 6-4, 7-6 (6)).
The 22-year-old Serb edged out Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta (1-6, 7-5, 7-6 (4)) in the first round of the Cincy Open.
