Cincinnati Masters: Shelton wins the duel against Opelka
Ben Shelton beat Reilly Opelka 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) on Tuesday and will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Italian Matteo Arnaldi in the next round

No 12 seed Ben Shelton advanced to the second round of the Cincinnati Masters by winning against wildcard Reilly Opelka 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) at the Lindner Family Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Shelton, ranked No 14, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Italian Matteo Arnaldi next.
