Norrie sets up second-round meeting with Murray in Cincinnati

An all-British affair between Cameron Norrie and Andy Murray is set for round two at the Western & Southern Open.

It wasn’t easy for either man, but both managed to advance on Monday afternoon. Prior to Murray’s 7-6(3), 5-7, 7-5 victory over Stan Wawrinka, Norrie scraped past Holger Rune 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-4 at the Linder Tennis Family Center. Cincinnati’s No 9 seed prevailed in two hours and 33 minutes.
