Cincinnati Masters: Fritz wins tricky opener against Lehecka to make second round

American Taylor Fritz, the No 9 seed, won against Jiri Lehecka 7-6 (14), 6-2 to move into the second round of the Cincinnati Masters at the Linder Tennis Family Center.
Fritz, ranked No 9, will face the winner of the match between Italian Lorenzo Sonego and Russian qualifier Alexander Shevchenko next.
