China Open: Sinner overcomes Jarry in three sets to make second round
The world No 1 will face the winner of the match between Russian lucky loser Roman Safiullin and Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka in the next round

Italian Jannik Sinner, the top seed, won against Chilean Nicolas Jarry 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 to move into the second round of the China Open in Beijing on Thursday.
Sinner, ranked No 1, will face the winner of the match between Russian lucky loser Roman Safiullin and Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka next at the Olympic Green Tennis Center.
