China Open: Cobolli edged out Bublik
Flavio Cobolli edged out Alexander Bublik 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4) on Thursday afternoon and will play Russian qualifier Pavel Kotov in the next round

Italian Flavio Cobolli reached the second round of the China Open by edging out Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 8 seed, 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4) at the Olympic Green Tennis Center in Beijing on Thursday.
Cobolli, ranked No 32, will play Russian qualifier Pavel Kotov next.
