Chile Open: Etcheverry moves into the quarter-finals

Tomas Martin Etcheverry moved into the last eight of the Chile Open by beating second seed Francisco Cerundolo 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at the Club Universidad Católica de San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago on Thursday.
Etcheverry, ranked No 76, will play Serb Dusan Lajovic next.
In the previous round of the Santiago Open, Tomas Martin Etcheverry won against Italian Fabio Fognini (6-1, 7-6 (1)).
