Chile Open: Baez wins the title

Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the second seed, won the Chile Open tournament by edging out Chilean Alejandro Tabilo, the No 4 seed, 3-6, 6-0, 6-4 at Club Universidad Católica de San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago de Chile on Sunday night.
In the previous rounds of the Santiago tournament, Baez, ranked No 21, defeated Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas (4-6, 6-4, 6-2), Spaniard Jaume Munar, the No 8 seed (6-4, 6-4) and Spaniard Pedro Martinez (6-4, 6-2).
Tabilo, ranked No 51, beat Tomas Barrios Vera (6-2, 7-5), Italian wildcard Luciano Darderi (6-0, 7-5) and French qualifier Corentin Moutet (4-6, 6-4, 7-5) earlier in the tournament.
