Frenchman Corentin Moutet won against Chinese wildcard Tao Mu 6-2, 6-2 to move into the second round of the Chengdu Open at the Sichuan International Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Moutet, ranked No 122, will face the winner of the match between Zimbabwean qualifier Benjamin Lock and Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 7 seed, next.
