Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 7 seed, advanced to the second round of the Belgrade Open by defeating Russian Pavel Kotov 6-3, 6-4 at the Belgrade Arena on Monday.
Etcheverry, ranked No 39, will play the winner of the match between Australian James Duckworth and Slovak qualifier Lukas Klein next.
