Belgrade Open: Wawrinka ousted in first round
Laslo Djere beat Stan Wawrinka in straight sets on Tuesday and will face lucky loser Duje Ajdukovic in the next round

Serbian wildcard Laslo Djere defeated Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka 6-4, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Belgrade Open at the Belgrade Arena on Tuesday.
Djere finished Wawrinka’s resistance in just 84 minutes, breaking the Swiss’ serve twice. The two players finished with 10 aces and zero double faults each but the Serbian outclassed his opponent in terms of winning points on the second serve, averaging 67 percent against Wawrinka’s meagre 37.
Djere, ranked No 141, will play lucky loser Duje Ajdukovic next.
