Nordea Open: Francisco Cerundolo moves into Bastad final

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo moved into the final of the Nordea Open by beating Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the No 5 seed, 6-3, 6-2 at the Båstads tennisstadion in Bastad on Saturday afternoon.
Cerundolo, ranked No 39, will play Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 8 seed, in the final.
The Argentinian won against Portuguese qualifier Pedro Sousa (6-4, 6-3), Norwegian Casper Ruud, the top seed (6-4, 3-6, 7-5) and Russian Aslan Karatsev (7-5, 6-1) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Carreno Busta, ranked No 18, won against Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka (7-5, 6-4), Albert Ramos Vinolas (4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-5) and Argentinian Diego Schwartzman, the No 3 seed (6-1, 6-0).
