Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles reached the second round of the Barcelona Open by winning against Hungarian Attila Balazs 6-2, 6-2 at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Monday.
Zapata Miralles, ranked No 41, will play No 13 seed Roberto Bautista Agut next.
