Barcelona Open: Tsitsipas extends winning streak
Stefanos Tsitsipas won against Sebastian Ofner 6-4, 7-5 on Wednesday evening and will face Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena in the next round
Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 5 seed, reached the last 16 of the Barcelona Open by winning against Austrian Sebastian Ofner 6-4, 7-5 at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Wednesday evening.
Tsitsipas, ranked No 7 and the winner in Monte-Carlo last week, extended his winning streak to seven matches as he set up a clash with Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena next.
In the previous round of the Barcelona tournament, Ofner, ranked No 43, defeated Russian Pavel Kotov (5-7, 6-3, 6-2).
