Barcelona Open: Norrie breaks losing streak, books spot in last 16

No 7 seed Cameron Norrie advanced to the last 16 of the Barcelona Open by winning against Russian qualifier Pavel Kotov 6-1, 6-2 at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Wednesday.
Norrie, ranked No 13, will face the winner of the match between Australian Jason Kubler and Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 9 seed, next.
He had lost in the first round of Miami and Monte-Carlo having reached the quarter-finals of Indian Wells earlier in March.
Kotov, ranked No 108, defeated Ukrainian qualifier Oleksii Krutykh (6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-1) in the previous round of the Barcelona tournament.
