Frenchman Alexandre Muller beat Spanish wildcard Albert Ramos-Vinolas 7-6 (4), 6-0 to move into the second round of the Barcelona Open at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona.
Muller, ranked No 110, will face No 3 seed Casper Ruud next.
