Chilean Nicolas Jarry won against Argentinian qualifier Marco Trungelliti 7-5, 6-3 to reach the second round of the Barcelona Open at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Monday afternoon.
Jarry, ranked No 51, will play No 6 seed Karen Khachanov next.
