Barcelona Open: Fils upsets De Minaur to make quarter-finals
Arthur Fils won against Alex De Minaur 7-5, 6-2 on Thursday evening. He’ll play Serb Dusan Lajovic in the next round

Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 16 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Barcelona Open by beating Australian Alex de Minaur, the No 4 seed, 7-5, 6-2 at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Thursday evening.
Fils, ranked No 36, will face Serb Dusan Lajovic next.
In the previous round of the Barcelona tournament, the 19-year-old Frenchman won against German Daniel Altmaier (6-4, 1-6, 6-1).
De Minaur, ranked No 11, defeated Spaniard Rafael Nadal (7-5, 6-1) in the previous round of the Barcelona tournament.
