Barcelona Open: Cerundolo sets up last-16 clash versus Ruud
Francisco Cerundolo defeated Francesco Passaro 6-2, 6-2 on Wednesday. He’ll play Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 3 seed, in the next round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 15 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Barcelona Open by winning against Italian Francesco Passaro 6-2, 6-2 at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Wednesday.
Cerundolo, ranked No 32, will play Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 3 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Barcelona tournament, Passaro, ranked No 125, beat Spanish wildcard Fernando Verdasco (6-1, 6-1).
