ATP Rankings: Tsitsipas back in Top 4, Evans climbs to new high; Thiem back in Top 100
The Greek passed Casper Ruud, while Dan Evans climbs to No 21 in the latest world rankings
Greece’s Stefanos Tsistipas moved back into the world’s top 4 after winning his first title of the season in Los Cabos on the weekend. The Greek moved up one spot to No 4 to swap places with Norway’s Casper Ruud in the only change in this week’s top 10.
Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz continues to lead the ATP rankings released on Monday, followed by Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev.
Ruud drops one spot to No 5 and is followed by Holger Rune at No 6, Andrey Rublev at No 7, Jannik Sinner at No 8, Taylor Fritz at No 9 and Frances Tiafoe at No 10.
Citi Open champion Dan Evans jumps nine spots after winning the title, moving to a new career-high at the age of 33. Washington finalist Tallon Griekspoor climbs 11 spots to No 26 – a new career high for the 27-year-old Dutchman as well.
Kitzbuhel champion Sebastian Baez jumps 30 spots to No 42 while runner-up Dominic Thiem shoots 32 spots up to No 84 after reaching his first final since 2020.
Former world No 1 Andy Murray climbs four spots to no 40 as he continues to chase a seeding at the US Open. Another veteran, Frenchman Gael Monfils, jumps 47 spots to No 276.
