ATP Adelaide: Lehecka ousts second seed Jarry in straight sets

No 7 seed Jiri Lehecka won against Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the second seed, 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the semi-finals of the Adelaide Open at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Thursday night.
Lehecka, ranked No 32, will face American Sebastian Korda, the No 3 seed, next.
In the previous rounds of the Adelaide tournament, Jiri Lehecka defeated Australian qualifier Adam Walton (6-1, 6-3) and Serb Dusan Lajovic (7-5, 4-6, 6-3).
Jarry, ranked No 18, edged out Italian Matteo Arnaldi (6-7 (5), 7-6 (7), 6-4) in the previous round of the Adelaide tournament.
