ATP Adelaide: Kokkinakis through to quarter-finals to face Korda
Thanasi Kokkinakis edged out Tomas Martin Etcheverry 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (4) on Wednesday and will play American Sebastian Korda, the second seed, in the next round

Australian wildcard Thanasi Kokkinakis advanced to the quarter-finals of the Adelaide International by edging out Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 8 seed, 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (4) at the Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Wednesday.
Kokkinakis, ranked No 77, will face American Sebastian Korda, the second seed, next.
Ahead of his win today, the Australian defeated Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka (6-3, 3-6, 6-3).
Etcheverry, ranked No 39, won against Australian wildcard Tristan Schoolkate (7-6 (8), 6-3) in the previous round of the tournament.
