Atlanta Open: Nakashima moves into second round
Brandon Nakashima won against Jordan Thompson 7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-3 on Monday evening. He’ll play the winner of the match between John Millman and Alexei Popyrin in the next round

American Brandon Nakashima, the No 8 seed, defeated Australian Jordan Thompson 7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-3 to reach the second round of the Atlanta Open at the Atlantic Stadion on Monday evening.
Nakashima, ranked No 56, will face John Millman next, after he defeted Alexei Popyrin.
