Kwon first qualified of the week in Atlanta
SoonWoo Kwon edged out Marcos Giron 7-6 (3), 4-6, 7-5 on Monday evening and will face the winner of the match between wildcard Jack Sock and No 5 seed Tommy Paul in the next round

SoonWoo Kwon reached the second round of the Atlanta Open by edging out American Marcos Giron 7-6 (3), 4-6, 7-5 at the Atlantic Stadion on Monday evening.
Kwon, ranked No 76, will play the winner of the match between wildcard Jack Sock and No 5 seed Tommy Paul next.
