Russian lucky loser Pavel Kotov won against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-4, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Astana Open at the Daulet National Tennis Center in Nur-Sultan on Tuesday.
Kotov, ranked No 103, will play Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut next. Bautista Augut eliminated Felix Auger-Aliassime on Monday.
