Bernabe Zapata Miralles moved into the second round of the Argentina Open by edging out Pedro Martinez 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Monday.
Zapata Miralles, ranked No 74, will face No 4 seed Diego Schwartzman next.
