Argentina Open: Lajovic books spot in quarter-finals
Dusan Lajovic beat Camilo Ugo Carabelli 6-3, 6-1 on Wednesday night and will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, and Serb Laslo Djere in the next round
Serb qualifier Dusan Lajovic won against Argentinian qualifier Camilo Ugo Carabelli 6-3, 6-1 to reach the quarter-finals of the Argentina Open at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday night.
Lajovic, ranked No 90, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, and Serb Laslo Djere next.
The Serb beat Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 6 seed (3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-3) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Buenos Aires Open, Ugo Carabelli, ranked No 127, won against Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan (7-6 (7), 6-3).
