Wildcard Facundo Diaz Acosta beat No 4 seed Francisco Cerundolo 7-6 (3), 6-0 to move into the last eight of the Argentina Open at Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday night.
Acosta, ranked No 87, will face Serb Dusan Lajovic next.
Ahead of his victory, Facundo Diaz Acosta won against German Daniel Altmaier (6-3, 7-6 (1)).
