Italian Luciano Darderi won against Argentinian qualifier Mariano Navone 6-2, 6-1 to reach the second round of the Argentina Open at Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.
Darderi, ranked No 76, will play the winner of the match between Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 5 seed, and Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles next.
