Argentinian Pedro Cachin defeated Brazilian Thiago Monteiro 7-6 (2), 6-4 to move into the second round of the Argentina Open at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Monday evening.
Cachin, ranked No 68, will play No 3 seed Lorenzo Musetti next.
